I showed this image to and he instandly suggested that i should put it to dA. Since i know he's a really great artist and friend (Take a look on his work!!), I do what he suggested and upload it now :D Hope the rest of you like it too :D

I took this shot on Sunday, while i was visitting my aount in lower carinthia. Originaly, that was 3 shots, all with different exposes, that wared combined into a HDR image and the mapped back to a normal one. The colors really went weired, but i still like it. It has a special kind of atmosphere.

Please don't forget to take a look at , without him i wouldn't upload this one :D

Tolles Bild, lebt meiner Meinung nach hauptsächlich von dem umgestürzten Baum und dem super Hintergrund. Sieht irgendwie sehr mystisch aus. :thumbsup:

The misty quality to this shot is beautiful! Also the fallen tree really does reflect the title as it seems to be laying there, waiting for something. Nice work! :D

Well, who isn't waiting for summer to arrive again?
Although, winter landscapes have a lovely monochrome and stark appeal that you managed to capture here!
Excellent composition and exposure with a tranquil and atmospheric scene that sums up winter really well.

that's exactly how i feel today...waiting for summer...well i'm not really waiting for summer i'm just waiting for spring -- or warmth of any kind! I'm ready for the world to come back to life after being dead for so long. This picture is a great capture of the dreariness--and beauty--of winter. :-)
